There lived a Guru, who had some disciples. He sent one of his disciples to buy groceries. He was met by another Guru who was jealous of the disciple’s Guru. He called the disciple and said, “Your Guru is good for nothing. He works no miracles. But I can walk on water, on fire, fly in the sky. Why do you want to be his disciple?”
The disciple replied: “I revere my Guru. He is a wonderful man. I have seen the greatest miracle in him. That’s why I am his disciple,” The Guru asked: “What miracle did you see in him?” The disciple replied: “He never speaks ill of anyone.” The Guru was ashamed of himself.
Speak ill of no one.
