A miser went to a priest for a prayer. He had hoarded lands and mansions and bank balance. The priest gave him a pin and asked him to return it to him in heaven.
The confused miser told the priest that he cannot take a pin to heaven. The priest asked him. “If you cannot take even a pin to heaven then why are you hoarding so much.” The miser changed his ways and became liberal.
We brought nothing into this world and can take nothing from this world. Let us be spendthrifts for God.
